Most Orthotic and Prosthetic services require a visit to our manufacturing facility. Custom foot orthosis can be manufactured from your existing foot cast with the existing Rx supplied by your medical provider. Mail order Prosthetic service is limited to partial foot prosthesis with arch support. We must be supplied with foot cast and sample shoe from which to make the prosthetic device.
All other Orthotic (Brace) and Prosthetic (Limb) services require in house casting and fitting. Many Orthotic and Prosthetic patients do not obtain full available activity levels because they have foot abnormalities or special work needs that cannot be addressed by traditional labs. This is due to the fact few O & P facilities have certified Pedorthist (Foot Specialist) on staff. Grundman Shoe is one of the few facilities in the country that has the ability to manufacture custom shoes, braces, or limbs all in house coordinated to work as one unit.
